About Gallery Deus

Thank you for visiting Gallery Deus. We know that our wide selection of Philippine antiques is sure to enthrall both novice and serious antique collectors.

Gallery Deus is a premiere source of authentic Philippine arts, crafts and antiques. Our massive inventory highlights objects of both quality and authenticity collected from the various cultures and people of the Philippine archipelago.

After decades of study, active collecting and developing our sources, we opened our gallery in 2002, at 1413 A. Mabini Street, Manila, the traditional seat of the Philippine antique business.

Since then, the gallery has become an important source for both Filipino antique collectors and visiting antique dealers as well. Our philosophy of offering only authentic and high-quality antiques at all price points is our strength.

Local Antique Costume

Our massive inventory offers santos and other examples of colonial art, tribal art from both the Northern Cordilleras and Southern Mindanao, textiles and costumes, jewelry and adornment. Our treasure chest section highlights unique collectibles at incredible prices.

We will also be ready to locate specific objects to complete your collections.

Gallery Deus is owned and managed by Floy Quintos, a writer and collector who has spent a good part of his life researching and studying the cultures of the Philippines.

Our Symbol

Idungdung - 19th century Ifugao woman's head ornament

This magnificent 19th century Ifugao woman’s head ornament or Idungdung is the symbol of Gallery Deus. In Ifugao culture, the outstretched arms depict the traditional dance pose of the female. But the cruciform figure also resonates with colonial Catholic meaning. The stark simplicity of the artifact aptly captures the essence of the objects we deal in, and the country these objects represent. A country both animist and catholic, animated by the powerful spirit of creation that is the life force, Deus.
